It’s another peaceful Christmas in the Bauble household, but chestnuts aren’t roasting on an open fire. And although a Silent Night would be welcome, all is not calm, and all is certainly not bright. Frank is dreading the arrival of his snobbish in-laws who only ever bring a single bottle of wine for the entire festivities. Throw in a couple of larger-than-life neighbours, let the drink flow merrily, and everything is set for a car-crash Christmas! Written by Gordon Steel and directed by Steve Casaletto, this farcical Christmas comedy for adults sees John Montanaro, Maxine Aquilina, Stephen Oliver and Francesca Briffa leading an eclectic cast. This production is supported by Arts Council Malta.

57th national competition and exhibition of photography

The Malta Photographic Society is organising its 57th Annual Photographic Competition and Exhibition of Photography, exhibiting over 100 printed and framed photographs, and over 110 digital photographs. Winning photos in the various categories will be displayed alongside chosen photos in the portrait, still life, street photography, landscape, architecture and creative styles.
