AIR MALTA IN-FLIGHT CATERING
We are proud to serve you a special arrangement, specifically designed for Air Malta Business Class customers, brought to life, and inspired by Maltese culture, traditions, landscape, and our maritime heritage.
Colourful Maltese tiles are being used as an underlay, while the tablecloth is inspired by our natural sandstone, accompanied with a mug boasting the Maltese cross. The Maltese ceramic “Żinġla” bowl, was used in the past to make dough and traditional delicacies. We are using smaller versions of this bowl to serve the olive oil.
Being in the centre of the Mediterranean, fish is a big part of the Maltese diet. However, beef, chicken, and pork also feature in most traditional Maltese dishes. The Maltese are very proud of its world-renowned fresh traditional Maltese bread, which is prepared daily in a brown ceramic container and baked in a Maltese oven, using specific ingredients which give it its characteristic taste and appearance.
We are pairing your food with pleasant and easy-to-drink red and white wine made from locally grown grapes.
