From smoky jazz clubs in the heart of Paceville to dance clubs in remote country locations, night owls are spoilt for choice. Malta attracts party-goers in droves with its great venues and world-class DJs. Thanks to the warm Mediterranean nights, many of the venues are outdoors.
The vast majority of Malta’s nightclubs can be found within St. Julians. Here, revellers can choose from clubs large enough to compete against anything found in larger European cities with massive and multiple dance floors, state-of-the-art sound systems, and the most enthusiastic crowd of party-goers imaginable.
Rabat has a number of options, including a massive open-air complex with several different venues, restaurants, and swimming pools, all beneath the beautifully lit bastions of Mdina.
Possibly the biggest celebration of the year is the Isle of MTV festival, held in Summer every year in Floriana. The celebration brings to one stage some of the hottest acts at the moment and always sees an massive influx of party-goers.
