This small sandy beach surrounded by hotels and restaurants, offers a perfect touristic location for fun, relaxation and social activities.

Lying between the towns of Xaghra and Zebbug, the village of Marsalforn is the most favourite tourist resort in the island of Gozo. Served by hotels, restaurants and bars, this small sandy beach in Marsalforn has a number of attractive swimming posts albeit a rocky coastline.

In the evenings, you can find people strolling along the seafront at Marsalforn making it a fantastic area for social activities. With plenty of restaurants serving fresh seafood and local vegetables, this fishing village has plenty to offer.

Maltese fishermen are here proud to show off their colourful boats which have been refurbished or repainted. Both motor and sailing boats liven up the place in the summer with the added option of taking a boat cruise around Gozo or towards the sister island of Comino. There are also plenty of salt pans in the area which have been carved out of the rock to harvest sea salt.

Also a base for diving enthusiasts, Marsalforn is home to various diving schools and diving destinations.  With a small beach amidst the centre of the bay and several rocky coves, you will be able to catch up on sunbathing whilst admiring the view.

There is also a legend that maintains that St.Paul the Apostle was shipwrecked in Malta who then embarked to Sicily and Rome from Marsalforn. The village church has in fact been named in his memory following his departure from Marsalforn.
