Passengers may enter Austria with a valid vaccine certificate, recovery certificate or a medical certificate in Latin script in German or English. Otherwise, passengers are required to register for pre-travel clearance prior entry and quarantine. Quarantine may be ended by means of a negative test from the fifth day after entry. The day of entry is considered as “Day Zero".

Passengers having a vaccine certificate for a booster dose (or a recovery certificate not older than 180 days following the primary schedule vaccination or recovery + 2 vaccinations) are not required to present a negative test result. Those without evidence of a booster dose or a negative test result must register for pre-travel clearance and go into quarantine until they present a negative test result.

Passengers are kindly requested to wear an FFP2 mask or a mask with a higher protection on board the aircraft.

Testing Requirements where applicable: a negative predeparture PCR, LAMP, TMA test to enter Austria taken within 72hrs prior arrival.

Minors under the age of 12 are exempt if they are accompanied by an adult. If traveling alone, they must also meet the respective regular entry requirements such as registration for pre-travel clearance, testing and quarantine. Minors from the age of 6 to the age of 15 are exempt from any vaccination/ recovery and testing requirements, even if they are travelling alone, if they can provide at least 1 negative test result of a PCR/LAMP/TMA test taken within 72 hours prior arrival or 1 antigen test taken within 48 hours prior arrival  and subsequently comply with the Ninja Pass
