A fisherman's haunt and a spectacular cove, Daħlet Qorrot is an ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax in the clear blue waters that this bay has to offer.

Nestled in the northern cliff facing off Gozo, this little beach can be accessed from Nadur. This spectacular cove is used by a number of fishermen who have turned some of the caves in the area into boat houses and storage areas for their fishing equipment.

As you pass the village of Nadur, you will arrive at the quaint fishing harbour known as Dahlet Qorrot Bay where you will be able to safely swim in the clear blue waters and relax on the rocks. Surrounding the beach there are plenty of fields where both traditional and modern farming methods are used.

Further along Dahlet Qorrot, you will arrive at the village of Qala where you will witness spectacular views of Malta and Comino. On your way back, you will be able to see the 18th century windmill and the Qala Church known as Santa Marija tal-Blat surrounded by beautiful fields.

The little caves and boulders provide a much needed shade during the hot summer months. Not only is it the perfect place to escape the crowds but it also is a beautiful spot to appreciate all the natural surroundings.

Don’t forget to explore the St Peter and Pal Basilica when you get back to Nadur. It’s worth a visit!
