www.airmalta.com has been designed to conform to standard guidelines in order to provide easy navigation and a straightforward flow of relevant information and online services to our customers. The portal is set up to ensure access by versions of any browser from Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 and above, Netscape 7.1 and other browsers. www.airmalta.com is available in four languages, which are : English, French, German and Italian. The browser is set to dynamically load one of these language versions by using IP recognition technology. The user may still browse between the language versions by clicking on the country flags at the top of the screen. Any session is not interrupted when changing between languages and the portal automatically re-displays the same page on the language version selected. Navigation and Other Specifications
The main landing page (home) on www.airmalta.com has a graphical navigation section at the top and at the bottom of the screen. The middle section is divided into three areas containing : (1) online Booking Engine on the left (2) graphical promotional links in the centre (3) specific enhancement services and offers on the right.
All sub pages on www.airmalta.com display the graphical navigation sections at the top and the bottom of the screen. A sub-menu relevant to the section being browsed opens on the right-hand side of the screen.
An abridged version of the Booking Engine is always displayed on the left hand side. The functionality of this abridged version is equivalent to that of the Booking Engine displayed on the Home page.
The middle section displays information relevant to the Section being browsed.
The Booking Engine on all pages enables online bookings for air travel with Air Malta.
The www.airmalta.com portal has been designed with all users in mind. The standard outline guide for the site is for a resolution of 800 X 600 using 16-bit colours. A lower resolution may still be used to view the portal, however particular imperfections in colour and design may result.
All pages on www.airmalta.com may be printed by selecting the Print Version page. The Print Version link is always displayed below the menu on the right-hand side of the screen.

Browser compatibility
www.airmalta.com has been fully tested on browsers ranging from Internet Explorer 5.5 and Mozilla 1. Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) have been used to format the textual information within each page. Only browsers from version 5.5 upwards fully understand CSS formatting.
Book marking a page
To bookmark a particular page, from the Browser toolbar select Favourites, then Add to Favourites from the menu options within Microsoft Internet Explorer. In Netscape select Bookmarks, Add Bookmarks.
Search
The Header links displayed on all pages of www.airmalta.com contain Search. To complete a search follow this link to the relevant Search page and type a word or string of words into the text search box. The user is given the option to decide whether to include also the search in files, by ticking the relevant dialog box. By clicking on the go button the user will be given on screen a listing of documents which correspond to the search details. These results will be rated, displaying the most close matches first and decreasing in relevance further down the list. Any search session entered is made in the relevant language version of the portal in use at that time of search.
Feedback and Request for more Information
www.airmalta.com provides a Contact Us form within the "Contact Us" section, to give users the opportunity to comment on the service or to request more information. A direct link is also carried at the top of the screen on all pages of the portal. Once the form has been completed the user must click on the submit button at the bottom of the page in order to send the information to Air Malta.
We strongly suggest however that users make use of our extensive Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) Section which cover most circumstances and requests relevant to air travel with Air Malta.
Saving pages
Any page in www.airmalta.com displayed on your browser window can be saved to your local drive. Select File, Save as from the menu option within both Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape.
File Formats
A minimal number of pages on www.airmalta.com are in other formats other than HTML or ASPX. These are Portable Document Files (PDF). To open and read these files the user requires Adobe Acrobat Reader software which can be freely downloaded from the Internet.
